Kamui's always been called "warm-hearted," and now he literally has a "hot" core. With that real heat backing him up, he's more confident than ever that he can warm up the people around him and make sure Strike Hawk never has another awkward moment.

Sometimes he worries this frame might look intimidating because so much of the mechanical structure is exposed, but in reality, kids love it.

Aeternion's Secret 3

After going on a winning streak in chess games at the arcade, he started challenging people all over the place to sharpen his skills. Right now, his biggest rival is Captain Chrome.

He always hopes people will praise him more. It's not about being competitive—he just likes the feeling compliments give him. To him, it feels like being remembered, being wanted. That sense of being needed genuinely makes him happy. Maybe that's why even a casual joke can sound like sincere praise to him, and he'll gladly take it.

This new frame is stronger across the board, and to his teammates on the battlefield, it also makes him feel even more dependable and reassuring. Kamui really likes that.

Kamui used to worry that the new frame's lack of pockets would make him even more scatterbrained. But now he sees it as a good chance to finally fix that habit.

The frame does come with built-in heating, but the heat level has to be adjusted manually.

He doesn't really like movies with sad endings. If real life is already sad enough, then entertainment should at least help people get away from that for a while. That's why Kamui would rather spend his free time playing games than watching movies.

He sometimes talks to the Commandant about what's bothering him. He wants to know what the Commandant would do in the same situation, and whether that might lead to a better outcome. To him, it's also a chance to reflect on himself.

When he's bored, he leans against his greatsword and hums tunes he remembers from childhood.

He's really into filming. Even if he doesn't know much about camera work, just recording the moments he cares about is enough to make him happy. And when he's feeling down later on, watching those old videos makes it feel like the happiness from back then can fill in what's missing now.

Aeternion's Secret 12

Kamui rarely thinks about the future. What he cares about is the life he has right now, and he hopes the things he treasures won't be taken away by time. That, to him, is what hoping for the future means.
